So the girlfriend and I ripped up the carpet in the "office" where I stored all the excess audio equipment and painted the walls. The next thing was to redo the floors. We went with stained concrete and the works. It took a week to sand the floor by hand to remove 40 year old paint stains and carpet adhesive but we got it done.

Then we acid stained it and sealed it. Here are the pics:

Epoxy coated and finished...

I'm going to let it cure for another day or so and then put the trim back on that we stained mahogany. It's natural wood trim from 1960's so it looks very very good.

This took about 9 days since we're lazy and only worked every other day and skipped one here and there. I'm pretty happy with the results. A small area rug is going in there and my two desks. If I can swing it, my Yamaha M-35 amplifier and some pair of polk speakers will be the monitors!

Looks like another planets landscape . Did you see this technique somewhere?
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

Yeah my friend did it to his shop. Because my concrete is so old the pattern was going to come out quite unique!
