PSW110 vs. PSW111...yea, again....

OK, so I've dug into the search about this topic and alot of what I am seeing is discussion about the differences between the PSW10 and PSW111.
Alot of what I'm reading is that the PSW111 is a competent music performer, but not so great in HT application. Is that do to the driver size? And with that said, is the PSW110 more suited for HT applications? (nevermind the PSW125 or the Micro series...we're talking just these two subs)
I've read the the lower limit rate difference between the PSW10 and PSW111 is 2db (which is not discernable), however the difference between the PSW111 and the PSW110 is 4db .... is that a discernable difference (the lower tolerance going to the PSW110)
Thanks in advance for anyones insight and opinions!

As I pointed out, I use the PSW110 and mainly use it for HT with great success. At times I also use it with music with great success. I prefer the slightly larger cone which allow for a lower end response. However, the PSW111 provides for more power than the PSW110. For me, I didn't consider this aspect so much since you at least need double the power in order to really notice the difference. I also think the PSW110 looks better but I guess this is somewhat subjective. An important point for me with a background as a repair technician, I have noticed more troubleshooting posts for the PSW111 than for the PSW110. Actually, there is only one post that reports damaged on the PSW110 and the OP didn't seem to have any power protection for it (http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?t=87675&highlight=psw110). The PSW111 seemed to have more issues with blowing fuses (http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?t=93065&highlight=psw111, http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?t=91535&highlight=psw111, http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?t=85216&highlight=psw111 (check post #10), http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?t=81285&highlight=psw111)
Cheers!

I have a PSW110 and am not really happy with it. I am looking to upgrade when i can. I got it on the cheap to compliment my RTiA3's who were lacking low end. At first i thought it was good but as i watch more movies I am looking for a little more oomph. I have not heard the psw111 but would imagine it is good for music but lacking for HT.
Are you looking to get one of these 2 subs? Retail price i think there are a few better choices out there.Front - RTiA5's
Rear - RTiA3's
Center - CSiA4
Sub - PSW110 -
KASR< don't you have that Crysalis sub? It's far better than either of the subs in question here.I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.

3db is the minimal difference at which you can hear a difference....so the answer to your question above is YES! 4 db will make a difference that you can hear.
