Its also not true..... Here is a list of online sites that are authorized dealers for Polk Audio. (and therefore carry the full Polk Warranty for the Polk products they sell.)

Note NewEgg and many other major online retailers are on the list. (unless Doro was just saying that is the only authorized e-bay seller you can get them from.....)
    Mains.............Polk LSi15 (Cherry)
    Center............Polk LSiC (Crossover upgraded)
Surrounds.......Polk LSi7 (Gloss Black - wood sides removed and crossovers upgraded)
    Subwoofers.....SVS 25-31 CS+ and PC+ (both 20hz tune)
    Pre\Pro...........NAD T163 (Modded with LM4562 opamps)
    Amplifier.........Cinepro 3k6 (6-channel, 500wpc@4ohms)

But I'll edit the post, since it seems to be confusing.

I would recommend Newegg over Crutchfield anyday. Nothing against Crutcfield, just the prices are too high.

I bought pair of Monitor 70 & CS2 for center. However, the receipt from newgg doesn't show serial numbers.

In case something is wrong with speakers, how can i claim my warranty?

    Please advise,

Your serial #s' should be on a yellow card in the same plastic sleeve with the owners manual in the bottom of the box.

I paid alot for my two RTI A9's but I placed two seperate orders a week apart and they are offering a $299 towards a Polk Audio sub. I put $299 towards my DSW400 then with the other sub, I got the free PSW111 that I am listing on Ebay.

It was worth it I think. Have not seen any cheaper except the refurbished ones from Ebay Polk Direct.

Yes, but it doesn't show on my invoice. Polk could say i stole from someone.

If i register the product online, does that count as a proof?

Bought my polk system (RM85) from Crutchfield, they had a special which gave me a free ($299) subwoofer, free shipping and no California sales tax (9.75%). Took 7 days for delivery very happy so far.
Also fyi Crutchfield is also a authorized seller.

You should register the product online and you'll be fine. Polk won't accuse you of stealing.

Deuce..... The cheapest I could find the 110 was $199 w/ another $11 or so for shipping from Crutchfield . The 111 was a bit more expensive and was $279.95 w/ free shipping from Buy.com. Try your local CL or Ebay, you may get lucky.

I've bought several refurbished speakers from Polk Direct on e-bay, and they were like new, with that new speaker smell (just like when you buy a new car) and they needed to be "broken in". In most cases I think you'll get your best deals from Polk or New Egg, and I've done very well buying from Club Polk members also.

I just recently purchased a PSW110 from the Polk Direct Ebay store. I have to say, I am quite impressed at what qualifies as "refurbished".

Upon arrival, the shipping box itself was in good condition, at worst, one bottom corner of the box had pressure wrinkles above the corner, but I didn't see any holes or dents.

Opening up the box, the subwoofer was packed in its translucent wrap, all styrofoam shipping materials were intact. One of the styrofoam pieces had a visible crack in it near the corner, but that didn't translate to any actual product damage. The manual and power cord were also included, of course and both were also wrapped in their translucent wrap. Everything looked like it had never been used, so if this had been refurbished at some point in time, the packing was very close to that of what I would expect for a new product.

The condition of the actual PSW 110--wow, I am truly impressed, this is refurbished? It looks like it could qualify as not even like-new, but actually just genuinely new! If I look extremely carefully--and I do mean very closely in bright light--then I see two very subtle light spots on the top of the subwoofer, and that a seam in the back, above the amp plate, has a very slight curvature to it when comparing to the bottom seam that is a straight line. To me, those are trivial cosmetic differences, I am not at all bothered by them and only mention them for the sake of completeness how the product was viewed out of the box. In fact, the finish was so new that I actually had put some light fingerprint marks on the finish in the process of carrying and repositioning the subwoofer, but those were easily wiped away with a microfiber cloth, so the finish is very easy to clean.

The subwoofer was also fully functional out of the box. I connected/plugged in the power cord, connected the LFE cable from the receiver to the R/LFE RCA input of the sub, set the crossover dial fully clockwise to the LFE setting, set the Power to Auto, and immediately started audio calibration of the subwoofer with the rest of the speakers I currently have.

As of the time of this post, the subwoofer was not yet even run for a full four hours that many recommend as a break-in period for subs, and I am still impressed with the very musical quality of the subwoofer that still obviously has the capability to play loud for movies. I calibrated for musical bass, so I'm not running the subwoofer very loud at all, the volume dial is at the 9 o'clock position and the AVR setting for the sub is at 0 dB (range -10 to +10 dB).

Kind of long, but that's my customer experience, having purchased a PSW110 from the Polk Direct Ebay store.

(Edited for clarity and fixed some typographical errors.)
