Well,

We've found out why my female cat was acting so weird while Freddy was here. She's displaying EVERY sign of being in heat, including walking around and backing up into my neutered male cat with her **** all up in the air.

It's rather amusing. Except for the fact that she may have to go in for a second surgery.

But yeah, she's being hilarious at least. :D She's creating a new vocabulary, making some of the most bizarre sounds i've ever heard out of a cat, rubbing on everything, and licking the walls. She also got on top of the huge male cat and humped him. He was pretty confused.

Pointless post, i know... If this continues, i will try to take a video and post. It's THAT funny.
I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.

Funny Story, thanks for the laugh.

I'm not sure but if a cat was sprayed late in life, she can act like that. But my understanding they don't act that why later next season. Well I least that was my understanding for the subject.

She's a couple months shy of two years old, but she was spayed less than 2 months ago. After research, it seems that it's halfway normal for them to go through another cycle or two if they were spayed young and recently as well.

I'm going to keep an eye on her over the next couple months, if it continues long term, then there's a good chance that it was an incomplete spay and she'll have to go back in.

The strange highlight of her weirdness came when i went to pet her, and she turned around and stuck her **** up at me... like I was going to do something about it.

same thing happened to me! turns out: when we 1st had her fixed, they left a little piece of ovary in there. apparently hooked up, too! it was enough to send the horny kitty hormones flowing! anyway, they opened the little beast up again, cleaned her out good and now she's just plain crazy:eek:

My kitten is in heat for the first time. It was funny at first, but after the 2nd night of her keeping us up all night by wandering around the house making all those noises, it was no longer funny.

She'll be getting spayed ASAP after this is over. She wasn't old enough before, but she is now!

I dunno. Maybe cats can sense that I'm allergic to them, but almost anytime a cat is around that isn't scared and hiding under the bed, it's trying to rub all over me like in the 3rd video.

FWIW, for the 2 cycles my dog was in heat, she acted like there wasn't a thing in the world going on, other than some extra dog-lick-private parts action. I bet the other dogs loved it after I took her for a walk during those couple of weeks!

    Kitty is STILL horney!!!

Every couple weeks like clockwork. She's gone through 3 more cycles since this thread.

I need to take more videos. I might not even get her "re-fixed," because she's utterly boring and no fun when she's not horny.
