I now know why there are so many fat people in call centers.

I was a little hungry, and thirsty, so i went to the vending area at the end of the hall.

Left with a Mt. Dew and an Apple Danish. (Hey, it's got fruit in it, right?)

600 calories!!! HOLY CRAP.

This is exactly why i don't read about what i'm about to eat.
I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.

    Chipotle Burrito's... 1300 calories!

I started cutting my portions down, and dropped 40lbs over the past year! I was not fat by any means at 220, but being 180 is the best I have felt in ages... Loves it!

Cut the fast food crap and you will be amazed at how much better you feel!!!

    Hrmmm...

But this brings up the discussion if a muffin top is REALLY part of the ****? I like to think as long as i'm not showing crack, all my **** is contained by the jeans.

The muffin top is an entirely separate entity in my book. So, let's leave my muffin top out of this.

Honestly, the 600 calories really isn't that bad. Whats bad is the rediculous amount of sugar that causes insane blood sugar levels. I'm gonna guess that was closing in on half your daily requirement of carbs as well.

Probably... Honestly, my diet is fairly well balanced. I don't eat a lot of sweets, i might have one of these danish thingies once a week, maybe a bowl of ice cream or two, and i don't eat out much, love to cook.

I just eat a ridiculous amount of everything. Side effect of quitting smoking i guess. :)

Alright, in the interest of science, i have now decided to compare said Apple Danish + Mt. Dew with a Mt. Dew and a Blueberry Danish.

    New calorie total: 650

112g of carbs, for a nice percentage of 37% DV based on a 2000 calorie diet. Taking into consideration that i typically eat around 5000 calories, this is a paltry 14.8%. Not all that bad i guess.

Also interesting is that one Blueberry Danish also accounts for 55% DV of Saturated Fat. THAT'S scary. :p

LOL. So we are having our pot luck at the call center today.....

I just ate 2 plates of food with turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes with eggs in it, two deviled eggs, three pieces of ham, a piece of sopapilla cheesecake, about 5oz of cheese, and I can't even remember the rest of it. Do we have big people here? Hell yeah. This just means 2 hours of cardio tonight lol.

Yeah, ours is tomorrow. And we wonder why 90% of our handicapped spots are taken by people with no other problems other than morbid obesity.

But.... mashed potatos with eggs in them? Tell me more....

I kindof hate eating at those places now, period.... Their appetizers, i really like.

But the rest? I can and don't mind making the same thing, but better, in the comfort of my home, for cheaper, and with whatever music I WANT playing instead of the crap they've got going.

The only real downside is that i don't have a bartender at home. :(

I will never understand the obesity epidemic. Its not hard to spend 15 minutes a day exercising. I think blaming restaurants and food vendors is the easy way out. People get so caught up in excuses they don't blame themselves for shoving the food down their own throats.
