Industrial looking speaker wire

I just checked the price of the big name speaker wire in 12 g. It was
about $1.50 a foot.

I had a system that a little tougher more industrial look would be fine.
I went to Lowes and bought a yellow 50ft ext cord 12g 3 wire.

I cut the ends off of the cord, cut the cord in half, stripped the
wires. It looks great. Sounds good too.

Any a/r stereophile people read this , it will drive them ****. Sorry.

    I hear it corrodes quickly.

What do you use the 3rd wire for? You probably should have bought the green one (envy).

You want industrial --- try "seow" cord next time , called S-O cord sometimes. Plus you can get it in two wire.
    Plasma : Panny 54G25
    Receiver : antique Sony
    BD/DVD/CD : OPPO BDP 93
    Fronts : Polk Monitor 10B
    Center : CSi5
no rears yet , no sub ... Looking at RTia3's first then 9's and a NAD T 747 ... maybe

Lamp cord is not bad. Shoot I use to think monster cable was good enough. Now I just bought new wires and I think it will make a difference. Plus they look better. (^_^)
