What speakers would you buy.
Reason for question is Dealer only has RTi in stock.

Sorry for the dumb question

Not a dumb question, but are there other speakers in your system?

No I don't have any other speakers.
Just rebuilding my system from scratch.
So far I have a Yam rec and Nak cd.
Space is a major problem, have also been
thinking about polk RM8 with a sub.

old sys was musical fidelity a3 (ia), canton (spkrs)
    Nak (cd)

    Thanks for your comments!

If you're building from scratch then you need to consider that you're buying into a series..if you buy RTI you should stay in that series and if you go TSI the same...you should listen to both and see what you think...RTIs are usually very good at HT....TSIs have gotten better there too....but can do double duty better at least for me...I know a lot of people here listen to music on Rtis as well.

Get thee to a Best Buy and listen to the TSI series..if they don't have the 200s they will definitely have the 300s which have more bass but sound very similar otherwise.

I have had the RTi4's for a few years now, and I have no regrets. I use them exclusively for listening to music. Mostly progressive metal and jazz.

I cannot comment on the Tsi200's, so my post is probably not very useful as a comparison, but I think you will be happy with the RTi4's.
