Just stopped by radio shack of all places, to see what they had as far as monster cable for audio and they had radio shack brand cables (GOLD SERIES) in lengths of 3ft 6ft 12ft for $1.30-$1.87. Had several of the moncables and video on sale. Most cables had a retail of 19-28 dollars. So if you need something quick.

It worked for me.:D

The gold series isn't as terrible as some. I'd pick some up for that price, just to keep around.
I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.

I passed also. The other (Gold) interconnects were still 25.00 +

They had some new brand in some fancy Black boxs. Fancy prices too.

Ehh...I've got some RadioShack IC's. I don't use them anymore.

I'm pretty sure I've still got them around somewhere. FWIW, I was never impressed with them really.

I'd put them in the same ballpark as Monoprice. Not junk by any means...but also nothing special at all.

However, I would take the Radio Shack cables WAAAAAAAAYYY before I'd take anything from Monster Cable.

I'm hearing more and more people are making their own.

With all the connectors you can buy (I know I've looked at alot of them over the years) I think it's really a cool alternative way for do it yourselfers.

Like tring to upgrade a cross-over yourself. Alot of fun I'm sure.I'll redo my crossovers as soon as I get up enough spare money. And while I'm at it I'll hopfully fix my SDA-CRSs crossovers too.
