Funny thing is, that steering wheel is upside down. So it's 180 degrees around and the car's wheels are either making a moderate left or right turn just so Mr. Hairy Legs in Short Shorts can write on his little pad there.

This item has been joked about around the web for a few weeks now, and while I get the humor, obviously you couldn't even try to use this thing while driving. Not in a "you couldnt' text while driving" way, like literally this thing would be USELESS while driving unless you were going in a completely straight line. It's obviously meant for people like traveling salesmen who just need a desk in their cars when they're parked.

I know that's not as funny as "look at these crazy inventions people come up with! Driving and using a desk!!" but... c'mon.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Wow! Excellent Lethal Weapons for the multi-tasking drivers. :D

Of coz, used correctly, it's very convenient tool. But when used it during driving, I don't want to know the outcomes. I hope no one got injured because of this invention.

Because it's attached to the wheel and would turn sideways and dump everything off your desk the moment you tried turning?

Is that a serious question? I can't tell when people are being sarcastic anymore.

Just don't have it in position when the airbag goes off. They will take you out in two pieces.

Alright so thats got to be about 10 terribly horrible scenarios this thing could cause. I can honestly see Jane Doe pulling out of McDonalds with one of these on her McSteering wheel and McSpilling her McCafe all the McEff over her McLap when she turns.

I hung a Sun Microsystems 19 inch CRT monitor from the ceiling once with that stuff. It was part of a prank where we velcroed everything we could from a co-worker's desk to the ceiling above his desk. We thought it was hilarious, he wasn't too amused.

^^ I did that once to a co-worker, except I stuck everything to his desk, with glue - funny as hell watching a guy wrestly with his mouse that's glued to the desk...awesome!
