No Radio, poor picture

I just got the Polk Audio 360 soundbar. So far I have no FM/AM radio. Poor picture quality watching TV going through the DVD/receiver (I am using the HDMI output) composite connections off DVR/cable box to TV has better picture quality. Have not loaded a dvd in yet worried how that may turn out. Is there a master reset on unit or do I just keep turning power supply off and on in hopes it will fix itself? Guess I could call customer support, but worried how well that will go. May just return to Amazon...
