SW Upgrade?

Hi everyone and thanks in advance for your help. I have two questions about my subwoofer setup.
Currently, I have two PSW 505s (one on the left and the other on the right). They are paired with LSi9, LSiC, and LSiFx.
Question 1: I am considering upgrading to two SVS PB12-Plus (I can use the PSW 505s elsewhere). This would be a considerable upgrade for me. I absolutely adore my LSi series. I listen to 70% home theater movies (Hi Rez audio via Blu Ray). The rest of the time, Jazz, Classical, Soundtracks (multi channel SACD if possible). What I am looking for is a subwoofer that compliments my LSi speakers. Is this worth the upgrade cost?
Question 2: Currently, I have my subs connected via a sub woofer cable. But, since I have two subs, I am considering wiring the left & right channel speakers through the subs (changing to Full Range Speakers and setting "no sub"). I know Polk likes this setup. How do other folks feel about it. Does it offer much improvement?
thanks!
Marcus

The SVS's will be a considerable upgrade, while the Polk subs are not too shabby (the 505 included) you will def. be pleased by the SVS's and will probably never have to upgrade your sub again, lol. As for the setup, I am not an expert on that, but if you have 2 subs hooked up already, why not just hook the SVS's up the same way you had the Polks setup? Good luck and congrats on the killer system.

It's not that I'm insensitive, I just don't care.. -
I haven't heard those subs/speakers wired that way but I do know people who've done that and like it just fine. I'd experiment with both configurations and see what 'you' think....what you think sounds better?
Killer system BTW.....especially with the new subs!!
