Carriers was a standard "OMFG VIRUS!!!" movie. Did it alright, very predictable. 5/10. Worth seeing if it's free.

Julia & Julie was a chick flick, kinda, that had potential, but it was dragged out, and didn't really seem to have much of a conclusive ending, and it was hard to care about the characters. If your girl makes you see it, you could do worse. 5/10.

Dead Snow. If you love cheesy gore movies with ridiculous plots, (**** ZOMBIES!!!) then this is right up your alley. Follows the standard group of teens in a wilderness area in a cabin where cell phones don't work, one gets left behind, others investigate, they all do something to piss off the undead, etc etc etc. 5/10.

It's been a very mediocre week of movies in the Concealer household.

Anyone else seen any of these?

I have all three of these on deck, but decided to watch 9 and Jennifer's Body instead. From what you've said, I have no regrets.

I think Carriers might have been worth watching. It's definitely not the movie you would expect from the previews. I wouldn't bother with Julie and Julia. Dead Snow was entertaining, but not a good movie by any means. :)

How was 9 and Jennifer's Body? I've heard mixed reviews on 9.

9 was interesting... but that doesn't necessarily translate as "great". It was just okay for me, and the black levels on the BD seemed kinda' off in the same way that Battle For Terra did. Jennifer's Body was reminiscent of Scream, in that it kinda' knows it's a ridiculous horror movie and pokes fun at some of the usual genre cliches. Oh, and there's hot **** kissing between Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried, so what else do you need? ;)

Dead Snow looks like one I may wait to appear on Netflix streaming and watch in Party View on my 360. My friends and I like to watch crappy movies together over Xbox Live and poke fun at them.
