No and Yes. I have had better communication with barnyard animals. BobT makes Forest Gump look like a genius. What a complete moron........based solely on his ability (lack of ability) to communicate effectively.

F1 was the first one to help me when I had a problem. I don't understand why this has become a personal attack on F1. Seems like bobt has some personal vendetta against him???

    Maybe someone is jealous?

Hey Bob some of us love this hobby, and F1nut helps many people out there. You are way out of line.
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

In red . . . so can I. In black bold . . . so have I. What has that got to do with the price of tea in China? I can tell you this however even with those credentials F1nut has forgotten more about audio then I have learned and I've been at it since the late '70s.

BTW what is your fixation and hard on with people who have high post counts. Did you ever think that maybe the post count is so high because of the contant helping of others on this forum? Who the hell have you helped and I might add God forbid someone tries to help you out, you just shove it up their ****(es).

Again for a guy who was supposed to be the VP of major companies you write like my 12 year old.

If you don't want to follow the directions of Polk Customer Service then stop your bitching and STFU!!!

bobt, if you wish to define your life in that fashion, then so be it. I choose to define mine in a way that you are incapable of understanding, never mind actually accomplishing.

Now, do what Kim Jasper asked you to do a long time ago and send those drivers back to Polk.

Since I have a lower post count does that make you listen more to me Bobt ??????????

Greg, I would contact Polk Customer Service by phone asap and explain what is happening as they have expressed a real interest in this matter.

Jesse, unlike others who decide not to do what's in their (and everyone elses) best interests, I will send my MW6511 back to Polk to have it tested. Hopefully they can get some useful information from the test and help out bobt inspite of himself. I DO NOT mean that as a personal attack against you bobt, but I simply think you are too emotionally caught up in this problem to help yourself.

I will report back what Polk finds out after they recieve and test the driver.

Here are some photo's of my room.

The width of the room is 18' you can see I have a corner shelf on the left and a TV stand on the right. Perhaps not ideal. The measurements from center to center on the speakers is 7' and I sit 8.5' back and there is about 3' on each side of the speakers from the side walls.

It's just about perfect, but obviously if I could get rid of the corner stuff it might even be better. Next step is some room treatments and a flat panel on the wall between the speakers. The SDA's are about 5" out in front of the cabinet and I kept everything low so it didn't affect the center image. The SDA 's are on 1/2" floor tiles and about 10" from the rear wall. For this room I don;t think I could do any better.

Could the popping in the replacement driver be because of lack of power. I noticed my 2.3tl array driver would pop at higher volumes but when I gave them more power it didn't pop anymore. Just a thought.

It's a good thought, but my 2Bs (with the replacement driver) would pop. When I hook up my 3.1TLs (with all original drivers) to the same reciever, there is no popping. Doesn't seem like an amp/reciever (power) issue as much as a driver issue.
