Sunfire Theater Grand Processor/AV Preamplifier

This was purchased by me from another polkie here on the forum, so I'll offer it up here for the same price I paid = $250.
Sonically, according to the previous owner there is a small audible pop when switching from Dolby Digital to DTS or Stereo. I used it only as a 2-channel analog Pre so I never experienced this sound.
Cosmetically, very clean. Couple of small scratches, but nothing I would consider major. I'll post pictures of them.
This is the big boy version at 19" wide and 43 LBS.
Included is the original box and foam, a TGP3 remote (newer version Sunfire remote), manual and remote codes for programing the remote. Very nice remote.
I'll ship UPS or FedEx, your choice and I'll split the cost of shipping. PayPal or money order/personal check is fine. Cash with local sale is great too.
Pictures soon to follow, and it will go to e-bay and agon in a week or so at a higher price. I have no problem with a polkie buying this and re-selling for a much higher price. That is your business.
Here is a short review that is very informative about the features of this unit:

Can anybody give any insight as to how this unit would compare to an Outlaw 950? Thanks, I am interested.

Here are some pictures of the scratches. Not as bad as they seem. I tried to get a lot of light in the pictures.

Also included (and I am pretty sure Sunfire included this from the factory) is this very thick anti-vibration glass stand. Looks really sweet under the Pre.

Shawn,
Can not answer that question as I have never heard an Outlaw. I will tell you what I noticed about this unit: Details, details, details. Heard things in the music I had not previously noticed. Music came alive. Acoustic music sounds fantastic on this Sunfire. -
...I just need the glass.
These are great Pre/pro's guys, and for that price it is an absolute steal. In that condition and WITH the shelf, they usually sell for about 450.00...

No hurry to sell, and I'll keep this thread updated. Since there is interest here, I will not send it to ebay or agon.
Thanks folks.:)

Eric,
Thanks for everything. I am going to pass on this. I would have to send it in for the repair if I got it (i have OCD tendencies....:)). Also, in order to get it I would have to move my Outlaw 950 and judging by the one for sale in the flea market, it doesn't look like there is a lot of interest in them. Wish I could justify it, but just can't do it right now.
Thanks again,
ShawnShawn
