Trey, is that loose fill insulation on the floor? Regardless, I hope you have been wearing a filter mask.

Very nice work! Good luck on the remodeling.:)

One thing raised a concern with me. It appears certain areas that have insulation installed have the vapor barrier installed (kraft paper) You then applied a plastic vapor barrier over that. I've read that a double vapor barrier is not adviseable. I'm under the impression that the kraft paper needs to be scored with a razor and then the plastic is acceptable. Could be wrong on this but I'd look into it before the rock goes up.

Might as well take down a few more 2x4's and build a completely new house. :)

    Thanks for the comments guys!

Sal - wait until you see the Ehternet and HDMI connections on that wall, you might go crazy in your seat! haha

We will be able to link two computers to a TV in the room over HDMI, link one to the den TV -- all kinds of ethernet connections for gaming and the works - very exciting.

Thanks for the advice on the vapor barrier - I will look into that for sure!

The poly vapor/moisture barrier will stop anything from reaching the paper faced fiberglass and do a much better job anyway. Have you used Dursban or some other termiticide to treat the soil on BOTH sides of your foundation?? It'd be a good idea while everything is unfinished. (smells bad!):)

Here are some crappy cell phone pics...

Pretty much all stud work is done except for one at the end of that closet wall...

Pretty much rebuilt that corner of the house... -- bottom plates were added for additional sheetrock security...
