    They have those on disc now, and I don't mean laser disc.

    I've got my RCA commercial SVHS player and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (retail) SVHS tape!

    I still use my VCR fairly regularly. I've got a bunch of stuff on tape that I've never replaced with DVD's...and I still want to watch them.

    I'm with Keiko..a ton of VCRs including a pro-grade Toshiba! Lots of tapes....I can't remember the last time I looked at one! And my Toshiba is not even upstairs with the HDTV its in the basement system with a 27" Direct view Toshiba, a cheapo DVD player, a Pioneer VSX-711, and 2 KLH fronts and a bunch of Ratshack Minimus seven as centers and surrounds.....hey....it works for casual viewing--there's also a JVC CD changer in that mix?
