Perhaps I am reading too much into it. Wasn't meant to be confrontational.

"Appreciation of audio is a completely subjective human experience. Measurements can provide a measure of insight, but are no substitute for human judgment. Why are we looking to reduce a subjective experience to objective criteria anyway? The subtleties of music and audio reproduction are for those who appreciate it. Differentiation by numbers is for those who do not".--Nelson Pass Pass Labs XA25 | EE Avant Pre | EE Mini Max Supreme DAC | MIT Shotgun S1 | Pangea AC14SE MKII | Legend L600 | BlueSound Node 3 - Tubes add soul!

Thank's for sharing! The a9's sound pretty damn good when you feed 'em some real juice! I just hooked mine up to a pair of xpa1's over the weekend and i'm LOVIN' it so far! :D:D:D

Definately a step up from the xpa5 i was previously running them with and WAY WAY WAY better than the Yammie integrated power :)

As of right now i'm bi-amping using a single 4ft 6" run of Canare 4s11 to each speaker but i think i might double 'em up per speaker  I have some leftover cable from my previous cable build so may as well use it :o

99% of consumer electronic's/component's is/are manufactured in China and Emotiva build's to ISO 9001 standard's so there is some attention to QC goin' on there ;)

Don't let ISO 9001 or other ISO numbers give you a false sense of quality. Worked for automotive O.E.M. and we were ISO certified. In most cases it's a paper trail and has nothing to do with quality. Hell , there are mobile homes built to ISO specs and we know the **** quality of M.H. It appears to be occasionally harsh feelings towards Emotiva. Someone please educate me to who parent company is or holding company. Thank you

No associated gear; what cables; no music used; no testing method; no room description or listening position; time frame, etc, etc, etc. It really has almost no value to me.

What he was listening for, what he originally liked about his Halo's, what he's owned before, what other amps he's compared in the past, etc, etc, etc.

I would tend to agree with you, but the title of the post does say "Short Review".
