Greetings all,
I have been wondering about a few things and hope this is the place to ask.
I'm fairly new and want to stay in the good graces of the POLK Brotherhood so please help me out here.
Just what exactly is considered thread jacking???
----and----
If you have a question closely related to the topic is it OK to ask your question and ask for advise?
----or
should you start a new post with a subject that is very similar to other posts?
Thanks for the "proper" insight
Greg
Sharp Aqous 40" LCD
Onkyo TX SR-507 AVR
Onkyo DX-C390 CD Changer
POLK RTI8 Mains--Cherry
the rest...in process...slowly!!

"I have a question about my sub woofer, let's talk about it."....Notice it's completely off topic?....That's thread jacking. Now to the topics at hand.....

You can always join in the discussion so long as it's on the same topic. Once it gets off topic, make your own thread about your individual question or questions. An apology for an off topic post isn't necessary, but welcome.

Greg, I'll put it to you this way. If you make your own thread, all of the discussion and conversation will be centralized in that one thread. That thread will be yours and so long as nobody gets off topic or thread jacks? Your questions will be answered. Well, hopefully that is.

    Happy posting and happy holidays.

My suggestion is to not listen to anyone that posts in this thread. You're doing fine, don't start reading the pontifications of ppl sitting on the toilet.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

No, but I hear Ricardo posts using his iTouch when he's taking care of business on the toilet.

See this already heading off topic. :)

Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

This is when RuSsMan or Doro come into a thread and start monkeying with themselves.

That's what the old threads are there for unless of course you are going to ask if a certain item is still available in a 7 year old For Sale thread.:D
