Hello everyone. Just got a new pair of LSI9s and signed up for the forum. I have owned Polk monitor 12 series 2 since 1988 and just now added to my system. I am running a Yamaha v-861 tuner powering my surrounds and a Carver TFM-25 for my LSI9 mains and have a SVS PB12 plus and have JBL surrounds and center speakers. having just added the LSI9s I am hoping to maybe sell my old Monitor 12s soon. The LSI9s are everything I had hoped having only heard them in my local Stereo shop. The Carver should do the trick nicely. So far So good ! Hope to learn from you all and contribute when I can. Thanks for reading... Drew

Welcome aboard. Nice setup you are working on there. If you purchased your 9's new - the sound will continue to change for about 100 hours. (it will change a lot in the first 30 hours or so)
I have the LSi's as well as a pair of Monitor 10 series II speakers. I do like the LSi's, but classic rock is just a blast to listen to on the old monitors. They do both have their place.....
Enjoy,

Nice toys bro. I' m a motorcycle fan, recently sold my MV Agusta F41000S awhile back. I have been on the Hayabusa, in short, heavy but tons of grunt. I had one up on one wheel easy and rode it out for as long as I wanted. In the curves I could feel the weight though, almost owned but opted to stay in the 1k CC club. Again congrats on the setup and welcome.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!
