for my current application, meaning it didn't fit within the 19" spot in the center of my TV console and now it rests on top of the console in front of the TV, partially blocking the bottom of the TV (1”).
It doesn’t look as aesthetically pleasing as I was hoping so it appears I can swap my current speaker for one of the following:

1) VM10 center speaker
2) CSR Center speaker (will barely fit)

Or does it make sense to put the center speaker down inside the console (lower than the TV) at all and just stick with CS10. Any help and advice would be much appreciated.

I have my CS2 basically on the floor with it aimed up... Sounds great.

If the CS1 is like the CS2, it can be flipped upside down and rest on the angled section to be aimed up.

I really want to keep the speaker off the floor and up inside the TV console.

I have the same center with the same problem, so I have it on the bottom shelf of my entertainment rack angled up. The only problem with that is that it is aiming right at my oversized coffee table. I don't want to give up my speaker so I'm just going to buy a TV stand that has the wall mount built in. This way, the top shelf will be clear and the center can sit up there, at ear level.

LOL, I don't think that would solve his problem anyway, they are pretty much the same size. I would recommend doing whatever it takes to make that CS10 work, you don't want to step too far down in the center channel selection or you will regret it. Something like 50-75% of movie soundtracks are formatted to be played by your center channel (esp. dialogue) the lower you go in the food chain the more you will have to tweak your settings to compensate.

Amp1, have you considered using a riser to raise the TV? Maybe a nice solid slab of wood 3"-4" thick that is finished to match your stand/console.:)

Well after doing some additional research on this site, I found you can flip this speaker upside down and the other side of the speaker cabinet configuration allowed the taper portion of the speaker to rest at a slight angle on the base of the TV stand thus pointing the center speaker at a slight upward angle and now it barely covers the screen at all.
I think this will be my permanent solution. Thanks for all the suggestions.

I seriously think center channel location is the hardest part of setting up a HT. Its always too high, or too low, or too big, or too 'something'
