Basic Audio Education - A Karma No One Should Want

I have a Blue Jeans Subwoofer RCA Male to 2 Female Splitter Cable - 1 Foot Long. Just say your in and my niece will pick the winner.
This is a Karma no one should want. I was using this cable for about the last month with my Pioneer Elite SC-27 and dual PSW Pro-3000 subs. The subwoofers are awesome, but I began to sense they weren't receiving a quality signal from my setup. I think this is in part due to the fact that I was using the LFE out but more so because of the splitter. Without the splitter, a signal sub sounded incredibly tight and almost as strong as the two subs together. And, the left sub would sense a bass signal and turn on before the right. This told me the signal was not being split evenly.
So, to remedy my crummy situation, I hook the subs up via the front pre outs crossed over at 80hz via the subs' onboard crossovers. The results have been spectacular the bass is extraordinarily fool bodied and much tighter. And, the subs are even more integrated with the speakers as well. This further reinforces to me that Polks new line of subs are fantastic. But, what this little experiment truly reinforced is that audio signal should never be split with cable solutions. It screws crap up.
Shipping is free. It's yours if you want it. Really, the only people who should be allowed to use this cable are those who are already using their preamp outs or have none.

But - doesn't this mean you have to run your mains as "Large" so that the pre-outs are not cut-off by your AVR's xover freq?
Aren't you concerned and scared over all that LFE stuff going to your mains?

Ummm no, my mains are a pair of RTia9s that were being run as large anyway. And, now that you mention it, they sound better too with the signal not being split by the receiver.
FYI, I got a pair of Halo A23 biamping these bad boys. The RTia9s with the Halos eat LFE for lunch. -

Wellll....I dunno....I think I will still have to report you to the HT 'experts' - - - LFE is scary stuff and even floor standers should be under bass management control and set to 'small'...according to the 'experts'.
Just keep it low and safe, ok?

I'll give it a try with a sub that accepts stereo ins and a single sub-out. In please.
