Good separates for my RTI8 under $400

I got a pair of RTI8 for cheap laying idle and plan on savin $400 for gear to power them . Could any of you gents that know about this stuff give me your suggestions to make them sound good

My Adcom GTP-400 and Pauly's GFA545 amp. Less than $300 shipped total.
But really, you need a preamp and amp?I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.

That would indeed be a great setup on the cheap. polkfarmboy you definitely need to look into getting these two pieces if you're serious about making the Rti8's sound really good.Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.-John Wooden -

That would be a great starter system.
Are you just looking for a 2 channel rig, or are you hoping to eventually put together an HT system?
The RTi8's really sound like an entirely different speaker when properly juiced. I just sold a pair recently...and I kind of regret it. Some nice sounding speakers.The nirvana inducer-
