Need help finishing off..
My set-up is listed in my sig but I'll repeat it for the sake of it.
Onkyo TX - SR701
Polk RTI 12
Polk Monitor T8
Polk PSW 10
I currently am shopping for a good center and rear center channel speaker and wasn't sure what to get. I've just been replaceing stuff as it broke and when the orginal reciver blew up I demoted the t8's to rear surrounds and bought the rti12's with the onkyo reciver powering it all. So if anyone has any ideas I'm all ears

Welcome to Club Polk aefira. Having the RTi12's up front I would suggest the CSi5 for your center, it is a bad mamma jamma and will timbre match well with your 12's. For your surrounds I would suggest the FXi5's, they will also match well with the RTi's. I am confused though, you listed the PSW202 as your sub in your sig, but listed the PSW10 as your sub in your post. Which is it, or do you have both? Just my $.02, I'm sure the guys will have more/better suggestions for you soon.

Err yeah nice catch on the sub bobble I'll have to fix that. I got a 202 for free when I bought the rti12's and loved it but something in the amp let go it's just blowing fuses the moment the plug touches an outlet. So I went and got a psw 10 for now but I'm pretty set on taking it back, I'm not happy with it at all atm but I'll give it a few more hours of play time to see if it sounds any better.
Thanks for the recomendation on the speakers I'm running the t8's as rear surrounds think it would be worth moving them next to the rti's and getting the fxi5's? That would require a big hardware change wouldn't it i'd have to bu an amp to run 4 speakers as l/r front chan?

I understand what you mean by the PSW10 not putting out much punch. It is a pretty good little sub, but I think those 12's have a better low end than the 10, lol. Look into the PSW505, it is a great sub from what I have been reading and for the prices it can be had for these days, it is hard to beat. I would just run the RTi12's in the front and call it good, not sure if there would be much benifit to running a L/R front channel setup. Not sure how the T8's match up with the RTi12's, but if they sound fine you may be able to just stick with those for now, and hold off on the FXi5's. The real experts will be on soon, they will probably have more/better advice for you.

Thanks for your time Jeff. I'll set up a date with a shop to listen to the center chan you recomended, after looking on the polk website I found they recomend it as well with the surrounds you listed reading ftw
The t8's sound a good deal crispyer then the rti's but I'm almost willing to bet that is stricktly due to a major lack of power. From what I'm reading at a min rti12's like 250watts at 8 ohms they are only getting 100 from my current reciver. I can't find an amp that I'm willing to spend the money on without it turning into needing a room for amps and eq's.Panasonic 42 Plasma

Yeah, the RTi's can handle a lot of power and will sound even better if you ever get them closer to the 200-250W spec. with an external amp. No problem on the time/advice, that's why we're here after all. Good luck.
