Maybe a dumb idea for a thread, but I was just curious. What is your favorite primary and secondary weapon in MW2? I use the P90 with the red dot sight now (waiting to unlock the ACOG, then I'll use that) Secondary is the PP2000 with the red dot sight. For Perks I currently use Marathon Pro, Stopping Power Pro, and Commando Pro. Deathstreak perk I use Painkiller. Sound off guys, lets see how you roll.

LOL Sal, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 to clarify. They did have the BFG2000 for awhile, it was the Javelin glitch, lol. Oh, that and the nuke.

Hmmm, I would have to go with my M4A1 with the thermo scope and hardbeat sensor, secondary striker shotgun, bling, Cold blooded and ninja.

or my other one is M4A1 with FMJ, Holographic scope, 2nd weapon is the stinger, stoping power pro, and ninja I beleive I have on that one.
Normally these two but sometimes I pull out the WA2000 as I love that sniper rifle.
    Woot!

I'm dissapointed how poor the AA-12 is in multiplayer considering how devastating the gun is IRL.

The P90 seems like just about the best gun in every game its in... MW1, Metal Gear Solid 4. It must be an awesome gun. Havn't used it much in MW2 yet.

I am with you on that one, it was my weapon of choice it the original Modern Warfare, and since unlocking it MW2 it is all I use now. Used the SCAR-H with the ACOG before I got the P90.

Can't see that video here at work, but the gun is pretty sick in game, especially when you're defending a flag.

I keep pulling that trigger as fast as I can when using it.

Scar-H + Silencer and Heartbeat Sensor

    Bling Pro
    Cold Blooded Pro
    Ninja Pro

Completely invisible to radar and dead silent. I play more of a stealth game...running along the outsides of the map and flanking the other team...particularly snipers and campers. Winning shoot-outs is mostly a matter of who gets a well aimed shot first. Playing stealthily and hitting people from angles they aren't expecting is the most effective way of taking people out IMO, and more importantly the best way of staying alive long enough to build up your kill streaks. Nothing is more satisfying than hitting a group of 3 people from behind without them realizing where they're being shot from. Its like shooting fish in a barrel. Plus it disorients the other team, and undermines their ability to snipe, camp, or otherwise control the map.

When it comes to team deathmatch and especially FFA, run and gun is the best way to constantly be on top of the list. You might not die a lot, but you won't rack up much kills either. And using the 5.1 setup is my best advantage IMO. People call me a camper cause I already have my scope set on them before the corner. Little do they know that ninja is used for a reason:cool:.

But some levels like that **** **** map wasteland, you're pretty much forced to camp. IMO its the worst map of either game.

If you're camping...I'll find you and hit you from the corner you're not expecting, or looking down your scope at. Thats how I roll. Most people who camp look towards the center of the map. Its easy to sneak up on people when I follow the edges of the map, and move in the opposite direction of the of my teammates. You'll be so busy tracking my teammates on radar, that you won't notice me coming from the other side. A 5.1 set-up does nothing for you if you can't hear me coming. Little do a lot of people know that ninja PRO is used for a reason (silent foot steps).

I'm pretty consistently in the top 3 in kill count playing this way....and K/D ratio is usually the highest on my team. The kills I miss out on running and gunning, I more than make up for by staying alive and getting kill-streak awards. What a lot of people don't learn is that the way the kill-streaks are designed, staying alive is far more important than getting kills. Its far more effective to get 5 kills without dying (builds up a UAV, care package, and predator for me) than to get 8 kills, and dying 4 times (probably building up nothing but a UAV and giving up points ot the other team).

Also, if you take a group of 2, 3 or even 4 head-on, chances are you'll kill 1 before the rest of them take you out. If you catch them by surprise and take them on from behind or a location where they can't find you, and you'll more than likely be able to take the whole group out.

I love Wasteland just for comments like above. I run around the perimeter in that map with a silenced Ump45, throwing knives, marathon, lightweight, and commando and kill so many snipers. They never know what hits them.

I have been playing with two main classes that are similar and work well on almost every map.

    Class 1
    Primary: Famas Heartbeat sensor silenced
    Secondary: P2000 Silenced w/red dot
    Perk 1: Bling pro
    Perk 2: Cold blooded pro
    Perk 3: Ninja pro

This class is great as long as you are not sprinting the whole time or near teammates without silenced guns. You will never show up on radar at all with this class so it is easy to catch opponents off guard (getting first bullets into opponents is key to getting kills). The key is that you are completely stealth and can see them on your heartbeat sensor to get the drop on them. The only drawback is when you get into close quarters combat and you don't have stopping power or a good close quarters weapon.

    Class 2
    Primary: ACR Heartbeat Silenced
    Secondary: P2000 Silenced Akimbo
    Perk 1: Bling pro
    Perk 2: Stopping power pro
    Perk 3: Ninja pro

This class is better for being more mobile and winning one-on-one battles with fully automatic fire and stopping power. You will only show up on enemy radar when they have a uav with this class so it can be pretty stealth. Being off heartbeat sensors and radar is very important to maintaining killstreaks.

Give these a try next time you play.

Mystik is doing the same thing I enjoy doing, I just read the thread after I posted and realized his class is basically the same. Also If you are good at staying alive you can try killstreak rewards of predator missle at 5, harrier at 7, pavelow at 9. This way if you can get to 5 a predator is almost a guaranteed kill making a harrier easily obtainable and harriers almost always get a couple if you can stay alive for the duration unlocking a pavelow. this is not that difficult to do and can take control of the match.
    HT Setup: Onkyo 706; Rotel RB-1075; Rti A3; Csi A6; Fxi3's

2 CH: Squeezebox Touch; Dared SL-2000a; GoldenEar Triton 5 or Lsi9's; Parasound 2125; SVS SB12-NSD; Music Hall DAC 25.2
