what amp or amps for rtia9's

What do you all suggest to power rtia9's? I currently run them with an emotiva xpa3 which also runs my rtia6. I am thinking about getting a more powerful 2 channel or 2 monoblocks. I used to have 2 EMo xpa1's and stepped down to the xpa3 and now wish I didnt. I may get 2 more xpa-1's. But I would like more input on other brands and options. Keep it under $1600. Thats the price of 2 xpa1's right now which I know I like. They are just so big and my stand can barely hold 2 of them and an xpa3. I was thinkink maybe even pro audio amps like yamaha. SOmeone suggested them because low or no fan noise. All suggestions welcome.

    Rotel 1092 class D amp. My buddy let me borrow his for a while and it sound great.
    It'll also put you back in the 500 watt club. The amp is also very light.

    The rotel 1090 and 1095 are also great amps with a ton of power but they're heavy as hell and they get pretty toasty.

    There are lots of used but really great condition Rotel and Parasound Amps under your budget. Or Bryston if you could afford to pay a little more!
    Trying out Different Audio Cables is a Religious Affair. You don't discuss it with anyone. :redface::biggrin:

    I've never had the pleasure of hearing a Parasound amp, but I love my Parasound tuner and pre-. Used is probably the best route, but check out audioadvisor.com. They had a couple of amps on sell in the last catalog I got from them.

    Can I ask what it is about the XPA-3 you don't like? The reason I'm asking is I posted a thread in the speaker section about buying an XPA-3 for my front 3 speakers which are the same as yours.

    I just bought the speakers and I've never owned an amp so I'm trying to collect as much info as possible before I make any decisions...

    How about 525 WPC? Check out Nuforce or D-Sonic amps.

    I LIke the xpa-3. But before this I had 2 xpa-1's which were 500 watts @8 ohms. So I kind of downgraded. But as for the xpa3 Its a great amp. I just want an exyernal amp for my surrounds since they are 3 generations back of the rtia9's and like alot of power. So Im thinking of using the xpa3 for center and surrounds and finding something for my towers. I just have the upgrade bug. I may end up either just getting the upa-2 for surrounds and keeping xpa-3 for front 3 speakers. Or in january get 2 upa-1 monoblocks and put on on each rtia9.
    But dont hesitate on the xpa3 get it while you can. In fact I may end up saleing mine to put towards an xpa5 just to save rack space and power all my speakers.
