Connecting RT3000p to Onkyo TX-SR876

I recently aquired an RT5000p speaker system. I downloaded the manuals for the speakers. There seem to be a number of ways to wire the RT3000p.

I will only be using a 5.1 setup so I could bi-amp the fronts. But, I can not figure a way to supply the subwoofers. I have one pre-out connection for a sub. Should I just Y adapt and split the pre-out to the left and right line in?

Would I be better served just using the easy connction way and running channel outs to the sub and jumpering to the top?

Could I channel connect to the sub, jumper to the top, remove the top jumper bar, and then bi-amp the top?

thanks in advance...

If anyone has a link or DIY thoughts on changing the rosewood veneer to black I would be interested as well.

just run a y adapter, that works fine.

Changing them to black would be a no-no......rosewood is very highly sought after. Find someone to trade!

+1 on the Y splitter to the left and right LFE in. That should do the trick nicely. Welcome to Club Polk.
