Ok, I know its a long shot. I recently upgraded my CPU to a quadcore so I have this spare Intel Pentium Dual Core E2160 laying around. At stock speeds it is 1.8GHz @800FSB and 1MB of L2 cache. It is basically a Core2Duo with less cache and lower clock speeds. However, this chip was the chip that Toms hardware tested back in 2007 and overclocked it easily to 3.2GHz using stock air cooling and 'auto' voltage settings on the MB. I ran this chip at stock speeds for a while then settled at a mild overclock of 2.4GHz simply by changing my FSB to 1066. I never changed any of the voltage settings from MB auto settings. The CPU was taken out of my working system, the heatspreader was cleaned with 97% isopropyl and it was packaged back in the original box with the OEM cooling fan (which was never used). It is guaranteed to work at stock speeds, but I can't guarantee any level of overclocking due to variations in motherboards, power supplies, etc. If you have a quality P35 or P45 motherboard with ample power supply, I see no reason why this shouldn't reach at least 3GHz.

Asking for $35 shipped.

I forgot to mention, this still has almost 1 year of Intel warranty left. I can give a copy of the Newegg invoice from when I bought it.

Here is the original Newegg product page with a few hundred customer reviews.
