Hello All,

Any help is appreciated

I finally have the opportunity to jump into the home theater market (although I do listen to a ton of music)

Polk Audio is probably the most well review brands that I have come across

Ahhhhh, but the devil is in the details.

I only have an 84 in wall, to put this against. And my room while rectangular is consider small (approx 20-30 feet long)

45 inches will be for my Salamander furniture.....the rest of the space....well that’s what I need the help on

I was all set to buy a pair of TSI 400 for my L&R. I thought it was a sensible step up from entry level and was only 7 inches wide per speaker.

But I stumbled across the RTI A3 book shelf’s on the Polk web page and now I am stuck........or confused.....or both

:)

RTI series is a step up from the TSI series (right?)....It looks like it has less Bass Speakers, but larger speakers and an extra tweeter.

The stereo imaging is supposed to be great. I am planning on adding a powered sub, so is their any advantage of the floor standing TSI400? Or is it just aesthetics?

While im on the subject of subs....I do like bass, but not crazy bass. Any suggestions for an 8-10 inch Powered sub with lfe connection (night mode pref) and under 350?

****Then I made the mistake of going to best buy to ask about a center channel*******

The Native center to the TSI 400 is the CS20, but could I upgrade the center only to the CSi A4? Would it be an upgrade? The best buy guy ( I know...and I apologize for asking best buy first) said that if I stuck with the TSI400....it would be a bad move to do the CSi A4, something about the tambour? Not matching

I do love my movies, but my music taste tends to lean towards Dave Matthews Band, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Grateful Dead (Eclectic Much)....so i am trying to do justice to music

Anyways...I know that’s a lot and I apologize in advance for the spelling, but all feedback is appreciated

-Brad
