Ok folks, we all (some of us anyway) have befriended with Fred through CP one way or the other. I got in touch with Fred through emails after his account gets deleted to see if he is doing well. From our email exchanges, Fred told me he decided to take a time off from CP for his own reasons and I respected his decision. To be here or not is entirely a person's choice and we all should respect that.

From the emails I exchanged with Fred, I was told the new GV#27 is not him and there was no hacking involved to his account before he requested for deletion of his account.

While I totally understand Fred is missed for his knowledge and his good suggestions, but I don't think it's fair for him that you pretend to be him.

The new GV#27, if you are Mr. Fred Flintstones, you are not the Fred (previously registered under GV#27) we knew before. Playing a prank like this seems a little senseless to me.

Yep, my sentiment exactly. When a person wants to quit, it's about it. But Why anyone would want to go an extreme length to register as GV#27 and pretend to be him?

Sal, quite honestly I'm surprised. He was a a good member of the forum that helped many members out.

If he's gone? Well he's gone. Too bad for the members that appreciated his advice and company.
