Although I mainly listen to Classical now, I keep searching for for new Rock. There was a brief blurb in the local paper about Them Crooked Vultures, so I added them to my Amazon shopping cart. I hope there is at least one good tune on the CD.

This CD arrived last week, and I listened to a few songs. After deciding to take a PTO day tomorrow (today), I finished listening to the whole album. This CD appears to be overly compressed. I need to play it in the car before I can make any conclusion about the songs.

Screaming Trees, Queens of the Stone Age and now Them Crooked Vultures...

I like them all. Except for the Era Vulgaris album. Thanks Face for bringing this by. I have no expectations anymore about well recorded rock albums being released in the near future. If anything, I think this album is above average compared to say... anything from Nickleback.
