CS400i and 2 additional centers
I plan on adding 2 more center speakers off the receiver center pre-out( thru additional power amp, of course) as soon as I can decide what would be a good match for my current CS400i center. I was thinking either a pair of CSi20's or possibly RTi28 or 38's. I would like to get some feedback from others using this arrangement!

Check out my HT - been there done that. Rt35's perfect matches.
So has Todd (tvtnt). Works great. But I will be moving speakers around soon. 7 channels on the way. Go with the 38's if you can't find 35's.
Also many recievers won't use internal power once you use the preouts. But my Onkyo works flawlessly.
Do a search on ****center on steriods****!!!!!
Need more info let me know. -
I just added 2 more subwoofers to the center and rear off pre-outs and seems to be working fine! On a side note, for the center sub I used a y-spitter from the center pre-out to the l/r line-in on subwoofer in order to sum the response. I assume this is better than just running to either the left or right input? I decided to go with the 38's because of the promo and the free subwoofer. Now I just have to locate a power amp and I will be off and running! What a huge difference for dvd-audio and movies like U-571! The only question I have is how to wire the power amp into this equation. I figure I will run a splitter off the center preout to the sub and to the amp( splitting again at the amp inputs) in order to add the 2 extra speakers. I avoid using the speaker line level inputs this way! What do you think?JVC AV48WP30 Widescreen TV

It should work fine that way - give it a shot and let us know how it sounds.
