Vintage Denon Gear to buy or swap

Love the older Denon gear. Need some to complete my Man Cave rig.
Looking specifically for a 2-channel Pre-amp but will also be interested in an integrated amp or stereo if it has a set of pre-outs. Average condition or above is good.

I can pay PayPal or if the gear is worth more I would be willing to trade a Sunfire Theater Grand Processor.

Let me know what you got Polkies. Thanks!
Eric.

    Screw it, It's Christmas. :)

I've got a PMA 500V pre that I picked up at Goodwill a while back. I have too much stuff around. PM me your address and for the shipping it is yours. It has all the preouts you could want. Go good with your POA 1500. Let me know.

Not in a couple of weeks. I'd like to get that POA-1500 that Ben modded from him. I think he has upgraded. Where you at Lightman?

I'll be meeting with him Sunday at Trey's house. I'll smack him around a bit if he doesn't chime in until then. I might even piss in his bushes. ;)

    Well, I got a sweet Tuna (TU-1500RD) and Pre-amp (PRA-1200) yesterday.
The little Yaqin tube buffer should make it fun as well.

I've had a Denon AVR3000 for almost two years but hardly understand how to use it. It's v complicated! Does anyone have a manual they would share (photocopy)? Denon no longer has a manual for this receiver it its archives.

I've been seeing a lot of vintage Denon stuff at the Salvation Army recently..it's interesting to see what some people just get rid of sometimes.

I also went up to Gainesville to visit my girlfriend and there is a vintage hifi shop I found; it was FULL of stuff, like a dream. Owner was pretty cool, too. I walked out empty- handed though cuz he was asking a lot for that stuff. He wanted $150 for an old NAD 3020 and $250 for a Sansui receiver I was looking at :0. I'll take my chances waiting on Ebay lol.

I sent that PRA-1200 preamp back to the seller and got a refund do to major static in the volume and balance knobs.

Then the pre I was searching for showed up on e-bay - the PRA-1500 and man it is the best pre I have ever owned (not saying much as I am a low budget junkie).

Still looking for this DCD-1650AR to complete the Denon rig:

Damn, that's a big old cd player, isn't it? :p

What would you describe the sound of all these components to be? I've really only heard Denon AVRs, and one Denon amp. I remember liking the Denon amp, but i didn't spend a lot of time with it.

After that CDP, a set of POA-8000s maybe? :D

Not sure how to describe the sound. Most people say Denon is "warm", I don't know. I just like it.
