Up for sale is my Adcom GFA 5503 3-channel amplifier. I recently went to an all Rotel amp setup, so I no longer have a use for it. Each channel is rated at 200W/ch into 8ohms, 350W/ch into 4 ohms. Condition is excellent, 8.5-9/10 mainly because it is used. For my own peace of mind, as well as that of any prospective buyer, I had the amp fully tested and cleaned by a reputable electronics repair shop in the Chicago area. I have been assured that it is good to go for many more years. Also included is the original box, manual and a 16AWG power cable.

I really do not want to ship this, so I am offering it for local pick up in the Chicago area.

    After watching a movie today left channel went to total static in the amp. Any help with what is going on with this amp?

    Everything was unplugged from the unit except speaker wires. Every piece of equipment was unplugged from the wall and receiver. Every other item was unplugged from the amp except speaker wires. I even switched the wires to see if it was a speaker. It is not a speaker problem, but a problem with the amp.
