Personally I would start at 600 and see where that gets you. You can always re-negotiate.

Hey TK, critique my translation skills...

Before (your disappearance? Don't know that verb.), could you explain to me the advantage to have french publicity on an American site of English speakers?

Not quite, "Before you go, could you explain to me the advantage of advertising in French on a site with American English speakers?" or so. Close enough though....and lol @ High School French....I dreaded that class....

    Google translates as:
Before disappear, could you explain what is the advantage of advertising on a French site so American English?

I find google translations hilarious sometimes.

Very good translation! Before you disappear, could you explain what the benefit of French advertizement on a US site therefore English? Very closed translation (now that he/she knows some can read his BS, he has more reasons for posting the spam ) ;)

Well, as far as bids go, I would say make the lowest offer you can, but I think the value of the stuff offered is around $1000 or so.....

400.00 will probably get the set. If you have more , offer 450.00. and I hope you get them. Great package there!

Definitely a great package, I agree 400 - 450$ seems fair. You better start low in order to give you some negociation leverage. Usually when someone ask you to give them an offer, they are not sure how to price them unless they are simply trying to attract multiple bidders.

    Good luck!

That would make for a great setup!! It's very similar to what I'm running. I've got an Adcom 545 driving my 2A's...I have an Acurus L10 preamp, and a Denon 2910 CDP though.

The 2A's(assuming they're in good shape), are worth $200-225 on their own. The 545(again, depending on condition), is worth $150-200. The GTP-500 is probably worth around $125...The Technics CD player probably isn't worth much of anything really.

I'd say $500 would be fair. Start at $450 or so maybe.

That would really make for a killer setup to get started on 2 channel. The pre and the CDP(especially the CDP), could stand to be replaced, but I'm sure they'd work very well for the time being.

I say go for it!! The Adcom 545/2A combo sounds wonderful!

$800 is too high IMO. I'd say even $600 would be a reasonable price...but not $800.

What he said. I wouldn't let my As go for $300, well unless I had bigger SDAs, na, I'd keep the little ones for HT.
