VM10 or VM20 as side/rear speakers?

I've finished assembling my speakers now, 2 x VM30, 3 x VM20, 2 x VM10 & 1 x micropro 3000 sub. The two VM30s and one VM20 will be my front speakers but I'm unsure about where to place the remaining speakers. Should the VM10s be the side surrounds and the VM20s be the rear surrounds or vice versa? I do have a set of FS10 and FS20 floor stands as well. I can either mount these speakers high on the appropriate walls (angled toward the listening position) or on floor stands. Lastly, the Dolby site says not to put the sub in a corner which is against what I always thought. Any thoughts about what would be best? Thanks (as always) for any insight you have!

I'd put the VM20's as your side surrounds and the VM10's as your rear surrounds. My only reasoning is, 5.1 uses the side surrounds and not the rear surrounds. They'll be used more on the sides than the rear unless you have your receive convert the 5.1 signal into 7.1.
