You know what? If it was pro ball, I'd be like WTF.

But it's college ball and they did pick up about 10 yards on that QB play action. My gut is telling me that they planned to get the defense to come across the line, think they went offsides and stop the play while looking for the flag while a tight end ran down field in to a man on man secondary with a single runner uncovered and all defenders blocked. It's actually quite ingenious. I'll bet it was planned.

Having met college linemen before, I'd say something like this :

Yet it was the guy to the left of him that completely missed his block and let the defensive lineman come free on the QB.

    Funny stuff.

That was the only conclusion I could come to. He sure stuck to the play call.

Actually... it's my understanding that offensive lineman typically measure the highest on the Wonderlic test out of all football positions (with centers coming in first not only in football, but in all of the four big sports). I don't know how much that amounts to...
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

Considering how late all those linemen were to move, I'd say that something was up...
