Well I wouldndt be too concerned about losing out on a great deal anyone who lists their speakers as "Big ****" with no other identification isnt worth repling too anyhow.

Hmmm..... it always amazes me when someone lists there speakers as being X $$ each like anyone is going to buy just one and if they did that will reduce the odds of getting rid of the orphan by 1000 fold :D

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

Another one of my pet peeves is people listing 5 year old items at near retail of what they paid back then, do people actually think that someone is going to pay them more then what it costs new now to replace it?

Example. For Sale 50" panasonic RP TV paid $2500.00 5 years ago at Sears $2000.00 or best offer.

Considering you can purchase a new 50" LCD for $1500.00 or less

    Here is one local. http://fairbanks.craigslist.org/ele/1490388121.html

At least the first one left a phone #. The second did not leave a # or email address. lol...

I always get a kick out of looking on craigslist for the free stuff with pictures to see what people are trying to give away.
    Front - RTiA5's
    Rear - RTiA3's
    Center - CSiA4

I thought this was going to be about people not showing up or some thing. On that note:

I had a DR. Appointment this week, and had a guy who wanted my monitor that we have for sale(36"crt 250+ lbs) So we loaded it in our van(my wife and I) and we told him we would bring it down after my appointment(he is about 30 miles out of the way). We get to his house, and he has a 1 foot wide wooden, not secured steps going up to his porch. I back the van up and we unload the monitor set it down on his stand. We hook it up and he is checking it out. He plays some obscure movie from the 80's on it that was badly converted to an avi and played with I think it was vlc player and was blocky, he did not like that. So he goes back to the desk top and it looks a little fussy, I told him I had no problems on it with my computer, and maybe he should try one of his other computers( he had like13 of them all from 2003 or older in his living room). Not going to happen. He said well, what will you take for it(60 bucks deliverd is what he offered in his E-mail). I stepped out and talked to my wife at this point she was like $50. I went back in and rold him. He sat there for a second or two and said how about 40. Sorry, no less than 50 I replied. So he says so 50 or your gonna take it out of here. Yup. I went and grabbed my wife and took it back. On my way out the steps shifted my wife and I both lost our balance and I tweaked my back and dropped the monitor. I felt like leaving trenches in his lawn soooooo bad. The **** didn't even offer me gas money for the wasted trip. I have not check the monitor yet as I am too pissed to deal with it.

Sorry about your injury..That whole scenario just makes me shake my head in disgust.
I have met a few people like that jerk in my years! I honestly can not understand how their gray matter reasons. How they stay alive is a mystery too. Maybe they are supported by external help FOREVER.
I really really hate UNGRATEFUL people.
Some believe GOD provides everything but sometimes someone elses money is what IS really helping them.Yet they don't see it that way.

I just read where Jesus cured a bunch of lepers and 9 didn't see fit to thank him. So I guess Ignorance has been around a long time..

Generosity and Gratefulness sometimes don't share the same event.

I'm glad we know how to be both.
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

    Yup.

When I walked in the house had all kinds of junk all over no trash, just junk(my house may not be the cleanest, but I also have 3 kids that don't think they have to clean up). His excuse was that his wife has been down state for the past four year or so helping her kids, and that he only cleans in the winter because he works around the house in the summer and when he is not doing that he is working on his old computers. I'm so tempted to call Saginaw township and complain about the three cars on blocks in his front yard, but I won't because I'm not like that. I'm not trying to rag on this guy, it just irks me that I went out of the way to do this and this is the thanks I get for it. I go out of my way to help people. I enjoy it. I'm the guy that stops when you are stuck on the highway, or picks you up when you are walking, I'll give you a jump, or run to the closet gas station to get gas because you ran out, etc. etc. etc. I may not be the most religious person, but I am a big believer in good will towards man. The world would be a much better place if more people would take the time to help one another.

Man, that sucks, but I'm really impressed that you and your wife could move a 250lbs TV. Thats a strong marriage.

You drove 30 miles each way to deliver a $60 item!? Props to you for being a nice guy. No way I'd do that even if I had money in hand already.
