A few months ago I was up late watching Adult Swin and the show came on, I was floored and found it to be absolutely hilarious. Just wondering if there are any other fans hanging round here. If you have not seen them check them out (especially if you either live or have spent any time in the south)

    He must be a character! I live in central Texas and you don't have to travel far to find any Early Cuyler types. I just picked up the first 2 seasons on DVD and about peed my pants watching them. Somebody must have been partaking in the good stuff when they came up with the idea to make an animated show about a bunch of anthropomorphic squid rednecks!
    Only down side is I have to DVR them as they only come on latenight on tuesdays here. I am giving several of my employees and friends Squidbillie t-shirts for x-mas. My favorite Early t-shirt is "breathe if you're horny".

    I watch Adult Swim pretty much every night and never miss my Sunday night cartoons. I'd say my favorite the last few years has been Metalocalypse. Long live Toki Wartooth!

    I love AS. Squidbillies is definitely one of my favorites along with Metalocalypse, 12oz Mouse, ATHF, Space Ghost, Robot Chicken... I guess you could say I really like AS. I don't watch the anime stuff much, although I love Boondocks.


    The social commentary contained in those few hours is absolutely the funniest thing on television to me.

    I used to watch Squidbillies... stopped for some reason, don't remember why. I'll try again.

    Still watch ATHF, Robot Chicken, 12oz Mouse, and i LOVE Perfect Hair Forever, but that hasn't been on recently. :(

    Metalocalypse is funny as hell and one of my other favorites. I have an employee that watches regularly, he and I spend a few minutes every morning recounting the previous nights episode and if one of us misses it it is always fun to get an explanation of what happened. Scary thing about the Squidbillies is I swear I know people who's lives the plot lines could be based on. I had to snatch the season two dvd off my coffee table as my 14 year old was wondering what it was and I'm not ready for him to watch them just yet! "Do not touch the triiim"

    I gotta say, I'm looking forward to the Christmas Special tomorrow night. Should be brutal...

    As for the rest of the AS line-up, ATHF (note my sig) is still a fave. As well as some of the other "classics", Harvery Birdman and The Brak Show. When I lived in Louisville, a group of me and my friends used to have a weekly tradition of gathering at my apartment and watching Sunday night cartoons. A perfect way to end a weekend. Throwing beer cans at the TV, utterly humiliating anyone who passes out and limping into the work the next morning... Good times.

    Not so sure I could manage the same schedule now.

    A friend of ours who played in a band around town used to rent out a warehouse near downtown and they would put up a projection screen and an above ground pool and have adult swim parties, the band would play a couple sets and there was beer involved as well. I think the network actually shut him down but it was a great idea. I do well these days to actually stay awake for the Squidbillies or Metalocalypse. I think Dethklok just played here in Austin in the past couple of weeks, I missed it. ATHF is another fave and Brac was the bomb.

    Home Movies is another of my favorite AS cartoons. Brendan Small (Main character and creator of Home Movies) is also the driving force behind Deathklok.
