After listening to music on PA gear for the last 15 years (good gear @ that). Crowns, JBLs etc I would like to thank you all! Just fired up my Jolida 202 Polk Rti5s and Audio gd DAC. Wow what I've been missing! Have a DSW 600 sitting in the corner waiting to be hooked up. I'm happy now! I really don't know what to say. Waiting on the Jolida remote for easier hookup on the sub. Rolled in some EH 6CA7s and the bass is acceptable with the RTi5s.

Hmmm, Jolida. Maybe this is one for me to start with. Can anyone recommend this as a good 'starter' tube amp?

What JBL's have you been using? most of the pro gear simply doesnt have the clarity or detail of true HiFi gear.

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

    Nothing wrong with that.... ;)

I was going to use a PA setup for the outdoor projector on the garage door. Nothing beats a PA for blasting the neighbors.

Won't be very good quality but it gets the point across!
