LP Gear Is The Best

On Thanksgiving, my brother visited. I brought him up to the studio to play my turntable for him as he had never heard mine.
I got my Yamaha YP-B4 TT from my friend Ryan last Christmas with a new Denon DL160 Cartridge purchased by my fiance (now wife) and calibrated by The Speaker Shop in Buffalo, NY.
Upon lifting the needle and starting the TT, the platter did not move. I couldn't understand why. It worked last night!
Low and behold my belt was broken. I figured it would soon as the TT was a little variable in pitch - depending on the temperature in my studio.
So that morning, on Thanksgiving, I placed an online order with lp gear.
Today, I received my new belt and it fit perfectly. When installing it, I cleaned up the motor spindle and the platter's belt path with a scotch brite pad.
Big Thanks to LP Gear http://www.lpgear.com/
for their quick service and the little extra cartridge alignment card shipped with the belt.

The belt was 18.95 plus 5.95 shipping regular USPS. Special thanks to Keiko for recommending them in an earlier post. I looked at a couple other online suppliers and although they were cheaper - they had some complaints.
That is how I chose LP-Gear -
Awesome!
