m40 vs m60
i have m70s in front and m40s rear would changing the 40s to 60s give me better sound for music and ht ?

No, don't do it. I have both 60s and 40s. I also have 70s for my mains with a CS2 for the center. I used the 60s as my surrounds for about 3 months. They do a good job all around, since they are a tower speaker, however, they are too low to the ground for good surround duty. In addition to that, the 40s seem to have tighter and more pronounced bass. I think this may have to do with the 40s being rear ported and the 60s being front ported. Additionaly, upon placing the 40s on stands (30" stands) they became even better suited to surround duty.
Honestly, the majority of the time that I was using the 60s as surrounds, I kept thinking to myself all the other things I could do with them.
