Str dn1000 LFE output

Does anyone know if the str dn1000 will send out a signal to the LFE output when in stereo mode?
Im waiting for my avr to get here and trying to figure out if I want to use the LFE or line in connection. I listen to lots of music as well as watch DVDs. I just don't want my woofer to sound weak when I'm listening to music.

I've got that receiver too. If you mean is the subwoofer output active when you select 2 ch direct, it isn't according to the front panel display. It only shows the L & R speakers on.Larry
