NFL: Week 12

Titans are still on a streak! First team to win 5 in a row after losing 6 in a row...not sure thats something I would be proud of though...

Fantastic game, literally got the game winning TD with 0 seconds left.

Chris Johnson is now tied for having 6 straight games with 125 + yds rushing. That kid makes people look silly. It has to be embarrassing to be a safety...not blitzing...and get out ran 85 yards off of a run...

Next week is going to be a real test with the Colts at Indianapolis. Colts beat them 31-9 in week 5 this year. I think the titans winning streak is about to get busted, hopefully im surprised.

How'd your team do?

And how about those Minnesota Vikings. They are finally figuring out how to destroy their opponent and dominate the game on both sides of the ball. Right now, they appear to have the most balanced team in football. Farve had almost 400yards passing and the team put up almost 550yards total offense. Defensively, they gave up less that 175 to the Bears and only 43 yards rushing. The Bears never stood a chance.

It is beginning to look like a Colts/Vikings Superbowl, but being a Viking fan, I won't start holding my breath just yet...

The Colts looked good in the second half yesterday. I still think that you cannot continue to win that way every week, especially once you get in the playoffs. They've had to come back in the 4th quarter I think 5 or 6 games in a row now. The good thing about it as a fan is you can never count them out. I mean, they're down 17-0 yesterday and the thought of them losing to the Texans never even crossed my mind.

That's dangerous though, because after a while you're going to just assume you can come back and win, and you're going to keep assuming that until you lose one - well if that 'one' happens to be a playoff game then you're screwed.

I thought the Giants were better than they are, to get beat down by the Broncos like that was not good.

I can't wait for the Pats v Saints game tonight.

    +1
    I grew up in Louisiana.
I vowed to stop watching the Saints the last time they disappointed me.

I attribute my lack of viewing to their winning.

So, I'll read about the game after it's over.

I didn't watch any football on Sunday. All the games I wanted to see were on Thanksgiving.

The Cowboys won and it wasn't a half-assed win either. I don't think they played to full potential but they did not seem to have a problem handling the Raiders. Who, by the way, despite that jackass Tom Cable, showed a spark of talent at QB for the first time this season IMO.

Al Davis needs to swallow his pride, can Tom Cable, get Shanahan back in there and be hands-off for a while. Shanahan could use that talent and make something out of that team again. Cable is never going to take that team anywhere. Never.

Oh, Detroit lost but that was a pretty exciting first half. Then Green Bay ran away with it and it was a snoozer. Until the touchback but I was jonesin' for the Cowboys game at that point and didn't really care. Oh and no NFL network so the game I wanted to see with the Giants I missed. BOOOOOOO NFL! You suck!

I was glad to see the Cowboys handle the Raiders but as usual we are in first place going into December. Now I am waiting for the utter dissappointment December always seems to bring to the Cowboy nation. I wonder if they will even make the playoffs. I keep having flashbacks of last year.

Oh I firmly believe that they are going to choke.

They are going to come off a mini-bye to play the Giants next Sunday against a team that is struggling and they should, honestly, beat and they will lose it. Like they did to Green Bay.

Then the week after that, they play Sandy Eggo at home and even though they are playing well, Sandy Eggo shouldn't be the better team in that matchup but...they will be. Dallas will lose.

They will go to New Orleans and lose a heart breaker by one or two points.

They'll beat the Redskins again because by that time the 'Skins will likely have given up because and a win there will change nothing and it won't keep Dallas out of the playoffs either. That's for the week after that when they play Philly.

But the last game against Philly will be an embarrassing debacle where Philly, plagued by injuries, will send out the 3rd string team and they will play bush-league college football and win the game on the most half-assed desperation plays you've ever seen in your life.

Yeah, Dallas ends the season 9-7 and giving up the Wild Card against Philly. The only saving grace is that Philly ain't gettin' the Wild Card either with losses to Denver and Atlanta and most likely the Giants will wake up by then and destroy the entire NFC east playoff chances by beating Philly in an injury plagued heartbreaker. Giants go to the playoffs on a 10-6 record with a loss to the Viqueens and lose in the first round to wild card seeded Atlanta.

Good to see you're still holding out hope for the Falcies, but injuries are destroying them. A depleted secondary. An injured offensive line with Sam Baker and Harvey Dahl down for the count. And of course, Ryan and Turner....

Couldn't have said it better myself. There is no excuse's this year. Make the playoffs & win at least one or else I think they gotta start changing their personnel. BUT with a coach that's never won a playoff game & a quarter back that's never won a playoff game , I feel falling short in December is inevitable.

Maybe they will prove us wrong.

    thanks for that a$$hole...:Dj/k

I remember all to well that missed kick, and that defense that sucked. The only reason for that team's success was the the offense. At least this year we have a team that is very well balanced on both sides of the ball. Even though our quarterback could qualify for a senior breakfast at Denny's, he has brought his "A" game to the table and has inspired this team. Hopefully the magic will continue.

Absolutely amazing. Brees picked apart the the Patriots defense. I was demoralized for them. But what really impressed me was the Saints D.
    Nearly flawless.

What a win for New Orleans.

Congrats to Saints....looks like they're for real...Pats....are good but just a shadow of what they used to be. Brady still a bit tentative...But looks like N.E. Defense pretty much sucked! That is NOT unusual these days. This is a a team that used to win with DEFENSE...now we seem to be in an OFFENSE only game! Live and learn.

It certainly takes the luster off Billy B. doesn't it....where is the GREAT Defensive Strategist....or should we say where was he yesterday....Lost in Translation I suppose!

More power to the Saints...I'm not a fan..but they deserve it!
