To michaeljhsda2... he sent me the best music gift I could have ever received. The Beatles VI arrived yesterday, and has not been off the platter yet. The condition after a thorough cleaning is nearly flawless. I was stunned to find the original Capital Rainbow on this pressing and the heft of the vinyl used. Most that I have found are the purple logos, and a much lighter vinyl.
While I admit it is not the best album the Fab Four made, this album managed to roll the clock back 35 years! I remember vividly spinning this record and experiencing the Beatles for the very first time, and this record was the beginning of my musical journey. Listening to it again after so long was made all the sweeter having SDA's to hear it on. Mike went above and beyond to score this album for me and I am thankful for his generosity. He is just one of the reasons this is the best forum on the net.

You're welcome John. I always enjoy going to the Record Exchange...that place is jam packed with vinyl. Of the 4 copies they had for sale that one seemed to be in the best condition. Just to be sure there weren't any skips I listened to the entire album in the store.
There's some nice tracks on that album that I never heard of. Enjoy
