An action filled gore fest. Good fight scenes. A fantastic action performance by Rain. Hope to see him in more action flicks.

Shurikens, katanas, ninjas, and automatic weapons. Leave the kids at home. May be too gorey for that romantic date night out.

I like what they did to the Volkswagon.

I think this look interesting. I doubt it has a good plot or anything but the action looks really good. I will be watching this one for sure.

do you like action movies filled with awesome deaths by ninjas? If so, this is right up your alley! I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Done very well and much more gore than I expected but not shock like Saw or something. Just good ol' ninja violence. Will own this when it hits the shelves.

I really should start my own thread, but what the heck...

Saw this last night. It was a lot better then I expected. A plot :) Pretty slick movie. Up there with "Wanted" imo. It was extremely gory and over the top action, but that is all about ninja's isn't it?

Enjoy this one, if you like violent rides with good acting and cool special effects. Worthy of a buy on DVD for me.

The little woman said she'd either see this or Avatar, but not both... so I ended up not seeing this. I will, however, be blind-buying the BD because from what you guys are saying, it sounds like my cup'o'tea.

Someone who goes by the name Kuntasensei picked anime over martial arts? You should be ashamed of yourself.

Face... James Cameron's Avatar... not M. Night Shyamalan's The Last Airbender (which is based on the anime Avatar: The Last Airbender). If you haven't seen the ads for Avatar and popped a little man-chub, there's something broken in your thinkbox. ;)

Seeing in the parking lot with all of it's new "accessories" was pretty funny.

    Btw, great flick!

i just caught it a few days back and i thought it was very so so :).

Trailer got me excited and some of the scenes were cool but it just didn't draw me in :). My suggestion is don't go in with high expectations and you should be ok.

I love kung fu movies. This one had some great fight scenes. On the down side that chick was freakin' terrible, but what really lost me was the last scene in the mountains.

I can suspend belief with the best of them but am I really supposed to believe that you can sneak up on ninjas with helicopters and hummers? Plus how did they get those hummers up to the secret mountain location?

Also I would like to see some full frontal nudity to balance out the over the top gore. I can take all the heads cut in half, but is it too much to ask for some nice **** to go with it. Those old time kung fu movies threw in sex all the time.:D

Yeah, her getting naked on top of him in the hotel scene at the end would have been great. :D

Just watched this on DVD... and maybe I'm just really easy to please, but I thought it was kick-****! Great sound, loved the effects and gore, and they at least sorta tried to take it seriously. Just a fantastic turn-off-your-brain action flick that really cheered me up.

Call me crazy, but this is going on my day one Blu-ray purchase list. The DVD was fairly solid (though blacks seemed a bit crushed), but I can't wait to hear all those flying shuriken in lossless audio! :D
