Is there a difference between the cherry finished on the RTi8 and RTiA7, or there's a standard Cherry color for all POLK product lines?

I'd say the RTi8's are more of a lighter brownish color...where the A7's are a somewhat darker reddish brown color.

The RTi8's also have the silver baffles.

I currently own the RTI8's and the csi A6.

There are several aesthetic design changes between the older and newer rti lines.

But specifically relating to the wood grain/color, you can't tell any difference from more than a foot away or so.
Plus I keep my grills on at all times so I only see the wood when walking by.
Sonically they are a perfect match.

If it would assist with your issue I can get you a picture comparing the veneer on the rti8 to the veneer on the csi a6

Each generation of RTi has brought changes in the overall color of the finish and matching is possible but hardly an exact science. This extends across the lineup historically as well.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Cherry wood also changes with age. Long-term exposure to sunlight will darken it.
