This is a fictional story of a jewish woman attempting to escape **** persecution and ends up in the Dutch Resistance during WWII. The first half of this foreign film is rather typical of this type of movie until you get to the second half and the story unfolds magnificently. A story of trust, betrayel, fight, and survival with an excellent performance by the lead character played by Carice van Houten. Give it a shot but be warned that the first 15min is a bit boring and it took me 3 attempts to get over that hump.

Rental because I don't see much replay value unless you're into WWII dramas (I bought it but won't sell it). Long movie with subtitles. No english dub on the BR. Some graphic scenes and nudity so keep the kids away.

It is slowly working its way to the top of my Netflix queue. I have a friend with a German wife so they watch all these movies, and he recomended it.

I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

I own it on BD. Definitely is worth watching but agree on little replay value. I found it a bit depressing as well.
