Iy seems as though the 6503 driver was used in many top of the line speakers and others toward the end of the vintage era. As I recall a number of years ago if you needed a replacement driver from Polk regardless of what you had ( 6500,6501,6600 ect) the 6503 was the replacement. If a guy had access to a bunch of 6503s should he replace say 6600s in the RTA 12Bs, 6511 and 6510s in SDA1cS? or, is this a bad idea?
I asked this questiona while ago and only Ben responded. What is the real difference between the 6500,6501 and 6600?? They all sound different. Polk made a big deal about the 6600 Keith
