    Help me out here. I would consider this as a gift for one of my kids if, he was able to hook up his laptop or Ipod. I have no clue about this type of music playing and need a bit of help.

    Could use a simple 1/8th inch to RCA adapter if you want to do it the quick and dirty way.

    Probably wouldn't sound horrible using the ipod, probably not REAL great with the laptop.

    Would sound GREAT with a cheap USB DAC for the laptop.
    I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.

    I'm currently doing this from my Dell Precision M90 Laptop (using whatever stock sound card they use) through iTunes, and have also used it with one of my kids iPods. I purchased a $20 1/8" RCA to phono from eBay and ran it to my vintage 1987 NAD 7600 Receiver inputs.

    To my surprise, the sound is EXTREMELY GOOD. The NAD 7600 and C70 are very closely related. Hawkeye, I would not hesitate to use this amp for this purpose.
