Yes it's 9 and a half minutes long but this is one of my favorites from Bach. Very soothing and relaxing. Elegant. Enjoy it or I'll kick you in the jimmy!

You better be enjoying it!

BTW, this seems to be Yo Yo Ma's "calling card" of sorts. He's quite good at it as well. But it's hard to find the full piece from him on YouTube and be able to embed it.

The one above is also an American Express commerical in case you were wondering.

Here is another commercial. Valspar Paints. The composer is a modern composer by the name of Jonathan Elias. The album is "American River". The track is "Crossing Rivers".

    Enjoy.

    One more.

This is Schubert's Sonata D959 in A Major - Rondo

Some of you TV buff mights recognize this as the theme song from the sitcom "Wings".

It's real though. One of my favorites from Schubert. Reminds me of flying or at least watching birds flying.

    Enjoy.

No Jimmie Johnson abuse, thank you very much. I get enough kicking there from my 4 yo.

I thought that sounded familiar, then I saw your comment on Yo-Yo Ma.

    ...

I like it (I enjoyed that one too :p). I'm a fan of New Age type music as well. Just a few at the very top of my list are David Lanz/Paul Speer, George Winston, Tingstad/Rumbel, among others.

Beethoven's Choral Fantasy in C minor Op 80

Yes, he has an entire catalog worth of work, not just Symphonies Numbers 5 and 9

Eh, not a whole lot of new age stuff gets me. Very rare is it that I find something I really like. Too many try to make it commercially viable. That's what's so great about the classical composers. They music they wrote was the pop music of the time. No forms to try and mold to. Just what was ever in their noggins out on paper.
